BASF Espaņola has received the Garrigues Award 2007 for the category environment. |
The Garrigues Awards for the Environment are the most important prizes in environment in Spain. For this awards BASF Espaņola presented the "Strategy of Environmental Promotion and Communication" and was awarded in the "Environmental Education and Communication" category.
"Sustainability is part of BASF strategy and refers not only to how we assume our responsibility with our main stakeholders - shareholders, customers and employees - but also with the environment and society in general", words pronounced by Karl-Peter Bercio, Chief Executive Officer BASF Espaņola, after receiving the prize from Cristina Narbona, Environment Minister of the Spanish Government. The 10th Garrigues Awards ceremony took place at November 22 in Madrid.
