Human Rights and core labor standards |

Sustainable development requires strategic goals and clearly defined principles. This is why we have defined our value system in our Values and Principles. This value system reflects our voluntary commitment to responsible action.
As a company operating on a worldwide scale we feel committed to uphold global values and standards. The ways in which we demonstrate this self-conception include our commitment to the Global Compact and our public commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO core labor standards and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. These globally accepted standards are the frame of reference and foundation for our Values and Principles which are valid for all our employees. They are the expression of our fundamental responsibility towards our employees:
Besides the measures we take to ensure health and safety at the workplace, our voluntary commitment also embraces the following standards for our global responsibility as an employer:
- working conditions: payment of appropriate wages and salaries, compliance with maximum working hours, remuneration of overtime, entitlement to paid vacation,
- non-discrimination, equal opportunities and diversity,
- no use of or benefit from child, forced or compulsory labor,
- respecting the principles of freedom of association and collective bargaining as well as company partnership with employee representatives.
To ensure compliance with these globally recognized standards, we have established a comprehensive multidimensional monitoring system.
