 Customer benefit:
New components allow a new generation of sport shoes with a perfect cooling effect by making use of fine-mesh ventilation panels. A special insole acts like a fan, circulating the air inside the shoe. The result is a 20 percent reduction of heat generation while fine membranes allow any moisture build-up to escape, but also keep water out in wet conditions. The properties of the TPU can be precisely adjusted through the mixture - the material used in sports shoes are elastic yet robust and wear-resistant. Existing injection molding machines can still be used. In addition, Elastollan® can be dyed any color, so that the shoes can reflect the very latest fashion trends.
