BASF announced it has won a contract to supply nitrous oxide (N2O) reduction technology to PetroChina Company Limited for its adipic acid plant in Liaoyang, China. N2O is produced as a by-product in the manufacture of adipic and nitric acid and has a greenhouse warming potential (GWP) of 310 tons carbon dioxide (CO2) per ton N2O.  |

The first Three-Litre-House in Korea was unveiled on December 7th, 2005 in Yongin. BASF has built the house in cooperation with FuelCellPower Inc. and Daemlin Industrial Co., Ltd. and thus introduced this innovative housing concept to the Korean market.  |
